The IV Fund is a private foundation whose mission is to nurture mental well-being in the United States.

The IV Fund supports programs that work upstream before the point of crisis to give people the tools needed to nurture resilience, enhance protective factors, and promote positive mental well-being.


The Fund does not currently accept unsolicited funding applications or proposals.

Mission: The IV Fund nurtures mental well-being in the United States.

Vision:A cultural shift in the United States that prioritizes mental well-being to enhance mental health, prevent suicide, and inspire resilience.

Values

Connection: We believe there is power in people with shared interests and ideas coming together to support one another, share their experiences, and foster change.


Innovation: We believe people who think outside the box to develop creative ideas and projects can make a significant impact.


Education: We believe in the power of education and knowledge to inspire change, encourage connection, and promote equity.


Accountability: We believe in defining objectives and measuring impact to guide funding decisions based on results. We believe in holding ourselves and our partners accountable through active communication and transparency to promote positive change.

Approach


The IV Fund partners with effective organizations and supports outcome-oriented programming. The Fund partners with a diverse group of organizations that support mental well-being by cultivating access to nature, providing access to information, inspiring artistic endeavors, and encouraging social connectivity and mindfulness.


We make both project and general support grants. We do not generally fund individuals, capital campaigns, endowments, or projects that are internationally based or focused. The Fund does not generally make multiyear commitments. The Fund does not currently accept unsolicited funding applications or proposals.
